What advice do you live by?
A problem is a chance for you to do your best.
I am fascinated by…
I have a 3 year old son and have been fascinated by the growing process of this small human being and the role we as parents play along the process. As much as we aspire for perfection, children challenge us and I am fascinated how much I have learned about myself, things I excel in, but also what I need to work on as a parent and as a person.
What I enjoy about being a VC?
Life is never boring in VC. No two ventures are identical and no two days are the same. Startups are hard, a greater fonder needs to stay focused. Being a VC, you have the privilege to be part of multiple great ventures and have flexibility to allocate time to fascinating ideas you believe in.
Favourite spot in Sydney?
Palm Beach, Barrenjoey Lighthouse and The Boathouse.
A great founder…
I personally believe it is all about the founder. A great founder is someone who’s curious, passionate, committed and driven.
What makes me excited about tomorrow?
Being based in Hong Kong, where we are nearing the end of a 3 year long battle with COVID, I’m excited about our upcoming travels plans and reconnecting with my overseas based friends and family. As an avid skier, I can’t wait to take my son to his first skiing trip and to start making up the lost travel time.
