About me
Guy is Co-Founder & General Partner at Stoic VC. Guy has been investing in and funding start-ups and early stage ventures since 2000 including at Macquarie Group where he established and ran Macquarie PRISM, a capital funding and investment vehicle that raised equity for private companies in the $3-30m range and invested into a number of leading domestic and international venture capital funds.
Guy was Founder, Executive Director and Global Head of Private Bank at Macquarie Group for 12 years to 2012. Guy holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW (AGSM), is a Certified Investment Analyst (NZIA) and Master Practitioner Stockbroker (SAFAA). Guy co-founded Venture Capital firm Co-Collective with Geoff Waring in 2014, investing across life sciences and deep technology.

Working with the smartest people in the room. I have been lucky to always have smart people surrounding me in my career and being a VC extends that even further to allow me to engage with incredibly talented entrepreneurs who will change the world for the better.

Bronte Beach at 6am in the morning – heaven on earth
